Guidance can either make or break an individual, team, or organization. It comes in many forms at different times. A couple of the more recent high tech guidance systems widely used now for guidance are Google and YouTube. Think back to the “411” days, when we had phone books and dialed 4-1-1 for information or went to the library to do research and gain guidance.
When we get guidance on something, we tend to naturally improve performance. This isn’t a new concept at all. Do you offer enough guidance to YOUR Business to assure its success?
Guidance at Olympian Levels
We are about to begin the 2016 Summer Olympics and there isn’t one Olympian who doesn’t have a person guiding them to improve their performance. No matter how much passion Olympians have to win the gold medal there is still something missing. What and Why? Individuals don’t know what they don’t know. Additionally we need someone to remind us when we are trying something new until it is mastered. This must be effective because Olympians have had trainers and coaches since like… forever!
