Business Strategies & Tips for Next Week!
“The “product” of a business is a satisfied customer.”
~ Peter Drucker, grandfather of modern business
Application of this Business Strategy for YOU:
Satisfied customers are the reflection of your business succeeding. How many customers are smiling in YOUR mirror these days?
When was the last time you took time to ask your clients what you can do to improve your service to them? Hint for amplifying this business strategy: Get feedback in person, if at all possible! Have one on one dialogue with your customer regarding their satisfaction and areas of service they would like to change. Dialoguing this type of customer satisfaction survey will allow you to understand with greater clarity what your customer really wants.
As I say that, I also know that there are times that if a customer is dissatisfied with your service they may reveal more information in an anonymous survey versus a conversation. That being said, you may be asking yourself “What is the best way to have candid feedback?” The best business strategy to get useful feedback is to build strong relationships with your customers right from the first interaction! I know this is easier said than done. Next week I will share more about serving customers.
Here’s Some Supporting Quotes to Ponder YOUR Business Strategy…
“Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.” ~Bill Gates
“Customers don’t expect you to be perfect. They do expect you to fix things when they go wrong.” ~ Donald Porter
“The more you engage with customers the clearer things become
and the easier it is to determine what you should be doing.” ~ John Russell
