will Boost YOUR Profit Margin

Strong sales is always a hot topic in business conversation. I’m a fan of Small Business Owners or Entrepreneurs talking about sales  – what’s working and what isn’t. We always have so much to share and learn from eachother! These are the conversations which can significantly boost YOUR Business Performance. Yet, far too often these conversations aren’t happening.

How can you expect to build your sales to a level of “strong sales” or even “consistently strong sales” if you aren’t focusing on improving YOUR Business’s Sales?  What’s one of the ways to focus on sales? Start talking to other Small Business Owners (SBOs) about sales in general.

It took me a little understand that the SBOs who don’t talk about sales are the people who don’t have strong sales, much less average sales. So the SBOs whose sales performance is lacking won’t say a word or just goes along with the conversation. They won’t ask other SBOs, “What sales techniques are working well for you right now?” Heck they could even ask, “What trends are you noticing with your sales performance?” while networking. If you don’t have rapport with someone tell them you’re doing a little research, because you are – or at least you always should be when it comes to sales!

ACTIONS TO ATTAIN STRONG SALES:

TIP: Do yourself a favor and learn what others are doing to generate more revenue. Alright, I admit that not all of it may be applicable or the best approach for your business, but I bet you can pick up a couple great sales ideas that aren’t common for your marketplace.

We still have 6 weeks left in this 3rd quarter. That’s plenty of time to create a big sales wave to end YOUR 3rd Quarter with strong sales. REMEMBER: How you end YOUR 3rd Quarter sets up how you begin the 4th Quarter. Let’s get busy doing the right stuff!
