created by new business projects
Is your calendar filled with plans that’ll take you to new horizons? Take another look – if you’re like most active Small Business Owners it is! Hopefully this is a reflection of YOUR Business’s growth or future growth.
What if you aren’t stepping into new horizons?
There are times when your business needs you to learn and at other times teach or do what you’ve learned. This ebb and flow is natural. The problem occurs when you find yourself stagnant without showing up to learn or apply your new skills and capabilities. Have you ever fallen into the Blah-Zone?
If you’ve fallen into the Blah-Zone, you need a new project. Not just any project! Select one that’ll open new horizons for you! Unfortunately it’s common to be in your Blah-Zone for a while before you realize it. What can you do to assure you don’t fall into the Blah-Zone? Always be looking for new opportunities to learn something new.
I was just sharing with a friend how I’m appreciative for my time as a Girl Scout. It was empowering, as a child, to decide what badges I could work on. What I was really expressing was the opportunity provided for me to select what I wanted to learn while earning a badge to reflect the badge’s challenges. Since I’m a person who is always asking “why?” Girl Scouts definitely provided endless opportunities of new horizons.
Brilliant Breakthroughs Big Question:
Which new projects would improve YOUR Business’s Growth… and yours?
Hold on for another minute – don’t disregard this question just yet. There’s four months left in 2016 for you to take on a new project or skill that would give YOUR Business or professional development a boost. Now, take a moment to write down 3 new projects. Contemplate which would grow YOUR Business the most. Then which one you’d like to take on. Select one of them to accomplish. Once you have your first choice completed, start the second. Chances are you’ll be amazed with how much you are able to achieve before this year is complete!
