Nature Teaches Us Better Business Practices

Nature Teaches Us Better Business Practices by Brilliant Breakthroughs, Inc.

“People are part of a bigger ecological whole. Living in harmony
with nature is a vital part of a quality life.”
~ Stephen R. Covey

Nature teaches us all year round. Did you notice that when we recently changed the clocks in the USA, that we are forcing our bodies to go against a nature pattern or rhythm? I find nature fascinating. I consider it to be one of our best teachers for life and business success. All this shouldn’t be a surprise if you have been following me! We’ve discussed lessons from Ants, Grasshoppers, Tomato Plants, etc.

Earlier today I was speaking with a delightful person I met this past week. At one point our conversation turned to nature as we discussed her potential business. As most people are, she was surprised to learn how nature teaches us how to become more successful in business. Yes, I do know that I really debunk a great many myths out there and share a fresh perspective on others. Wouldn’t any good thought leader?

Stephen R. Covey is synonymous with leadership and performance. I was surprised when I recently ran across the above quote in the back of his New York Times Bestseller book, “First Things First“. Covey is brilliant! Nature teaches us all sorts of lessons, or at least gives us opportunity to ponder aspects of life.

Today’s “Nature Teaches Us” Sound-byte by Brilliant Breakthroughs:
“We should look to nature more often. It reveals truth if we take time to notice. Nature teaches us and gives us insights on how things naturally work well because nature is agenda free. It’s only focus is to thrive.”

OK, technically the agenda could be thrive. Yet, work with me on this. Why can’t we create businesses to thrive? Why do they become mucked up? Why don’t they stay in a simplistic state? Why isn’t their focus to thrive (flourish)? Nature teaches us all this – if we allow so.

Brilliant Breakthroughs Invitation:
Find 10 minutes and go outside or look from the window. Notice nature in all its grandeur. Do you notice any patterns, rhythms, colors, or anything? Ponder how this could relate to your business. What nature teaches may be “earth shattering” to YOUR Business’s Success!

Inspiring Quotes of what “Nature Teaches”
for Successful Business:

“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.
~ John Muir

Society speaks and all men listen, mountains speak and wise men listen.”
~ John Muir

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop off like autumn leaves
.”
~ John Muir

“The power of imagination makes us infinite.”
~ John Muir

Most people are on the world, not in it – having no conscious sympathy or relationship to anything about them –
undiffused, separate, and rigidly alone like marbles of polished stone, touching but separate
.”
~ John Muir

Yes, we are out of the norm by having 5 quotes by the same person. But how could I not honor these great quotes from John Muir?
