Ideas, the stuff dreams are made of – it’s how businesses begin.
What good ideas do you have? Better yet, what great ideas do you have?
I’m convinced each one of us is filled with all sorts of good ideas. Doubt me? How often do you see something that you’ve thought of but another person took that same idea to market? Probably more than once if you’re like me!
I’d like to share with you what I continue to notice in the marketplace and it doesn’t need to be so. Perhaps this is warning for YOUR Business Success or you will appreciate it as a correction.
The ideas of business owners becomes Intellectual Property. It must be protected AND shared.

I agree with the above quote because I’ve seen this happen time and time again. I’ve also found it to be my business’s truth!
Ideas: Protecting AND Sharing YOUR Business’s Intellectual Property
I help Small Business Owners simplify strategies and align actions so the can build a profitable and peace-filled business while stepping into their potential. Yet, while Small Business Owners (SBOs) are stepping into building a successful business, they often become ultra concerned about someone stealing their idea.
WARNING:
When this fear creeps into their mindset, SBOs start playing small. They get stingy with what they provide in the marketplace.
Worse yet, SBOs might even not deliver their true awesomeness to their customers because they are afraid someone will steal their ideas. This falsehood makes me laugh inside my head.
This is what I’ve learned about my Intellectual Property
Over the past 15 years of doing what I do, I noticed other businesses delivering different parts of what I do and/or at times using similar language. Most SBOs see this as a threat. I don’t.
Why isn’t this a threat? It’s an indicator that the marketplace is interested in my topic and how I express it.
Do I bring different aspects and a system of strategies and right actions to my clients than the bits and pieces other do? Yes. I have created a system for simplifying Small Business success.
I’ve never seen anyone utilize all my secret sauce they way I do. In fact, every time I see someone getting close to what I do, I get very excited. Why? It confirms that even though I’ve always been a decade ahead of the marketplace, there is a great need in the marketplace for how I serve SBOs.
