Business Strategies & Tips for Next Week!

Business Strategy : Keep your eye on the ball
Business Strategy : Keep your eye on the ball

“If you take your eye off the ball, you will end up with a black eye and a lost ball.”
~ Anon

Application of this Business Strategy for YOU:

What exactly is “Your Ball” in your industry? I find it fascinating that each industry or even business believes they have a different ball; yet, the truth be known, we all have the same ball. Customers is the name of your ball. Doubt me? How long do you think you can stay in business without customers?

Indeed each business’s customers are different, but that doesn’t mean you can have a successful business without them. Serving your customers in the best possible manner you can is a business goal. Creating the plan to how you are going to accomplish this is your business strategy. Don’t hesitate on this one business strategy… it actually drives many others! Look at your business from a customer’s perspective and see what you could do to improve their experience.  Also, remember to ask them for constructive feedback so you can satisfy them even more!

Here’s Some Supporting Quotes to Ponder YOUR Business Strategy…

“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.” ~Sam Walton, WalMart

“We rent one in three tuxedos in the U.S. and Canada, and if we make a mistake, our employees will deliver to the customer’s home, office, or wedding. We get a couple hundred letters a week praising the service in our stores.”
~ George Zimmer, Men’s Warehouse

“Southwest Airlines is successful because the company understands it’s a customer service company.
It also happens to be an airline.” ~ Harvey Mackay, Southwest Airlines
