White Board Magic:
Today’s Business Strategy
Business Rescue Coach Maggie asks you:
Do you get writer’s block?
Are you looking for new ways to create?
Do you need a way to let something flow right out of you?

YOUR Business Strategy today is a simple, quick, and fun one: Trying a new technique (what I loving refer to as White Board Magic) to create something or find a solution to something which has eluded you!
Matter in fact, White Board Magic is soooooo simple that you might not even apply it because you might think that it doesn’t work – BUT IT DOES … that’s why I call it White Board Magic 🙂 How do I know? I have used this endlessly over the decades. I’m not even sure where I learned this… but I’m a practitioner and believer!
The White Board Magic Process:
When you are about to take on a new project or a part of a project go to your EMPTY White Board, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in and out. Then put the marker up to the board and let everything pour out of you that comes to mind. Don’t hesitate, don’t judge, just write or draw. Keep doing this until you have no more space.
Then, if you are high tech: take a digital photo of it and erase it and start with whatever wants to be revealed next and repeat with photo taking. OR if you are low tech: pause and quickly write down everything you wrote and get to the board to have the next round reveal itself, and repeat.
Two White Board Magic Points to Remember:
- Start with a clean and empty white board
- Record everything before you erase and start the next flow of information
Alternative to White Board Magic:
If you don’t have a white board, getting typing paper or different colored paper will do the (magic) trick too. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, but I’d stay away from lined paper because we are mentally conditioned to work on it in a particular manner and it isn’t as freeing like an empty white board to allow White Board Magic to appear!
Again, remember White Board Magic can be used any time you need to think a little differently to get a different result, find new solutions, or even create something new.
White Board Magic Action Items:
- Pick something you would like to work on.
- Get your empty white board or empty paper ready and follow the steps.
- Write a quick comment (in our comment section) about what happened when you applied this. Take a moment and do it now- no time like the present 🙂
Are you ready to see what your White Board Magic can produce? Why don’t you share what white Board Magic revealed for you? Feel free to “Leave a Reply & Comment” so we can all help each other build Brilliant Businesses 🙂
It can be all different this year…
if you plan to deliver different results in 2013!

I think “changing up” how we brain storm is a good idea. If we usually write things on paper, then change it up with using the white board. If we already use the white board then change it up by using a pen and paper… or typing it on the computer. When I do that, it seems to open up new pathways to receive even more than I did before.
Thanks for your Magic White Board tip!
