Application of this Business Strategy for YOU:

What’s great customer service? I just experienced something this week that has me even more loyal to our “Lawn Care Specialist” than before (and I already told many people about him)! This is an authentic business strategy for some and for others it’s a business strategy. What I experienced this week was a mindful conscientious act of a business owner.

Frank, the owner of CareFree Lawns, Inc. of Franksville, WI (262) 895-2111 who services Southeast Wisconsin, has been taking care of our lawn diligently for several years now. We appreciate his high level of service, his consideration, and his expertise of lawn care. What makes Frank and his customer service so special?

When he first starting caring for our lawn, I explained that they didn’t get behind my trees (which are inside my property line) and he immediately came out and rectified that without hesitation. Frank has educated us, far beyond the “sharpen your mower blades” and “taller grass makes for a healthier lawn” comments. Frank’s prices are very reasonable. Frank is friendly. Frank always leaves a voice message regarding who will be treating our yard and which day. Is it apparent that Frank feels like a friend to us?

That all sounds good, doesn’t it? Just like you would expect, but we didn’t get this type of service from our previous provider. So what did Frank do this week? Frank hand wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day Mrs. Mongan” on our invoice. This might not seem like much to many, but I assure you it is! This act, which I’m sure took less than a minute, was extremely thoughtful and is high impact!  Heck, he just received some free visibility for satisfying this customer (and he doesn’t even know it… yet)!

Customer satisfaction is a good goal for each business. Your customer service is your business strategy. Each business is different. Take some time this week to add or alter one thing you can do to be more satisfying to your customer. Growing customers isn’t difficult and it’s much easier to create repeat customers than gain new customers. Have some fun and see what you can do 🙂 AND CALL FRANK if you are in SE WI 🙂
