This month our focus has been on leader-ship performance. I couldn’t have asked for a better article to appear for us to review! I’d like to introduce an outstanding author, whom we have highlighted before for his practical and accurate wisdom sharings on how to improve leadership and business performance: Jeff Haden.

This article/post I’m referring to comes via Inc.com: 8 Things truly outstanding leaders do without even thinking by Jeff Haden (he’s one of my faves).

Here’s the deal, I know that great leaders do each of these 8 things, without hesitation, because it is simply how they should show up… True leaders are precisely this at their core! It’s not a facade. These are great examples of how we can lead by example – and hopefully inspire others to do the same!

I especially like the “why” of #4 and #5. And of course #7 – who can possibly be an expert at everything (one point in a conversation I had earlier this morning). This afternoon, I had a conversation with a client who is merging with another business about #8. He totally understood and is looking forward to how this all plays out!
