Winning Business Strategies

Have you ever wondered what you should be focusing on? What a brilliant Business Strategist might say to you to help you with your business strategies for growth and prosperity? Well, the good news is you don’t have to wait any longer, how about 2 brilliant strategists to help you?!?

Every Friday,  now my non-Twitter followers can have the same competitive advantage, even without tweeting capabilities 🙂 Each Friday I share with you my list of 10 tweets for the following week (5 from the “Grandfather of Modern Business”, Peter F. Drucker,  and 5 from me as Lunchtime Business Strategies) to help you with practical and tactical topics to ponder and take  action on for greater successes. I suggest you print out the list 🙂

Top 10 Business Strategies to Ponder & Act Upon:

MONDAY

Peter Drucker:  A leader’s first basic competency: put willingness, ability and self-discipline to listenjust keep your mouth shut.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: An old professor, “communicate until you are blue in the face”. That means listen more than you speak 🙂 Do you?

TUESDAY

Peter Drucker:  A leader’s second basic competency: a willingness to communicate – make yourself understood.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Effective leading and managing is accomplished through your team truly understanding what needs to be accomplished.

WEDNESDAY

Peter Drucker:  Being patient will support effective communication.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Do you practice listening to what people want to share instead of rushing them along? Slow down and get the real information you need.

THURSDAY

Peter Drucker:  A leader’s core competency:  remember to drop ego and own that it is time to re-engineer mistakes.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Do you first own mistakes and then dive right into reenigneering them so they don’t occur again?

FRIDAY

Peter Drucker: A leader’s core competency:  remember how insignificant you are compared to the task. Good leaders subordinate themselves to the task.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Your role exists because there are tasks to be accomplished. Do you make the focus about you or completing the task effectively?
