MONDAY

Peter Drucker: Management’s choices always result in responsibility.

Lunchtime Business Strategy:  Understand that choices don’t necessarily liberate you or your team; choices help set up new objectives.

TUESDAY

Peter Drucker: What matters is whether a leader leads in the right direction or misleads.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Review your staff’s accomplishments. Reward competency, not charisma.

WEDNESDAY

Peter Drucker: Good leadership assures that each team members’ contributions are in alignment with the business’s goals.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: During team members’ performance reviews, teach them to always be asking, “What should MY contribution be?”

THURSDAY

Peter Drucker: Define your business’s purpose to include more than economic goals. Include elements of success that are meaningful to your team.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Does your business have a specific Purpose Statement? Does your team know what it is and how to fulfill it?

FRIDAY

Peter Drucker: Define a purpose that employees can believe in and challenges to contribute their best work.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Share with your team how 1st Qtr. ended. Ask them for feedback regarding why  performance what it was and what could be better.
