Now, I will share with you that I didn’t have all the R&R I’m writing about – only 1.25 days over a long weekend… Yep, but you don’t know why (and I do…) I will be heading out of town for a couple of days to do some volunteerism. Indeed, I’ve been working ahead so I can walk out of here soon! To me, this is one of the benefits of running your own business 🙂
I don’t mind sharing this with you because it is one of my primary joys of being an entrepreneur – flexibility. I did take a day of play, and I will have several days (later this week) to be out of the office so I can gain a fresh perspective as I dive back into a very productive month. I smacked a me-retreat and volunteerism into one little get-away (you will read about this in strategy in tomorrow’s blog post).
