Business Rescue Coach’s Business Strategy: Self-Discovery of the Benefit You Provide

Feeling like a King or Queen? You should because in the past two days you have answered, “What do you do?/How do you do that?” and “Why do you do that?” So let’s wrap up this self-discovery process with the last question of this series:

“What does some one gain by enrolling them self
into the services you offer?”

AKA: What are the benefits some one would gain if they worked with you? That’s right – what outcomes would they experience from the time they spend with you sharing your expertise?

The obvious thing to do is to ask your current customers why their world is better because of their experience with you. I know that seems far too practical, but it works 🙂  Remember: Quite often the the simplest way to do something is the most effective. Let’s have you ask several of your customers. Then see how strong of an alignment there is between what they are sharing with you and what you think the services are that you are providing in your marketplace.

Possible Benefits Examples

1. Hair Salon:  Our customers like how we are funny, happy-going, and we help them create their personal image.

2. Chiropractor: Our customers like the minimal waiting time, how thorough we are, how everyone is in a good mood in the office and the quick results they get with gentle adjustments.

3. Printer: Our customers are impressed on with our swift turn-around, accurate, and the low costs we can offer them on customized printing jobs.

These are nice simple statements, aren’t they? Of course with everything we discuss, we are only scratching the surface and oversimplifying, but these are great examples for you to work with as you develop your own benefits/results list. Let’s see what we can unearth as we do this next step…

Benefits of my Clients: stopping the immediate “pain” while instilling sustainable solutions, businesses revitalized or saved from closure, succinct questions to help identify the root of the problem, growth and profit margin improvements, practical action plans to infuse better strategies to get more desired results, learn how to get control of their business’s success, learn new strategies of how appropriate short-term goals coincide with long-term goals, have fun while learning, (I) translate all the business lingo/practices into a language that is understandable, starting to enjoy my business again, no busy work, and provide practical and tactical solutions that are customized and easy to implement.

2. Take this list and shorten it to 3-5 key points.
