Curious how to take your great ideas and goals to implementation?
Just yesterday I posted about the importance of goals and how often they fall short because the lost step of “preparation and alignment” is not typically addressed. Thus, I absolutely love the timing of this article coming forward to share with now 🙂
Tom Searcy, the author of this article, writes about a true phenomena which occurs not only in life but also in our workplaces. For independent entrepreneurs this could have a double-whammy effect because so often the people you are asking to support your ideas are family and friends. Tom’s concept of “Idea Vampires” and how everyone has them in their life is just brilliant. When I was growing up, I was introduced to this concept of people being referred to as “Kill-joys”. The name doesn’t matter. Learning how to overcome these people to bring forth your goals is the key!
I especially liked tips #2 and #5. The combination of working them together really assists progression of the idea! What’s your favorite or should I say, what’s your lethal combination? Feel free to share in the comments section 🙂
