Integrity: Warren Buffet Style
Curious what Warren Buffet has to say
is the definition of integrity?
As you may have noticed, I do quite a bit of writing. So imagine what happened when I ran across the word “Buffet”. All I could think about is, “should I hold this off until the day before Thanksgiving?” (with my little twisted humor voice… and the answer: why of course)!
First, I’d like to express my gratitude for you allowing me to come into your world and hopefully assist you with building your business so it is profitable and shines brilliantly! Blessings of continued success to you!
So as we are all about to sit down and look at a great smorgasbord or buffet tomorrow, I thought I’d give you a fascinating super quick and short posting on “integrity” to chew on for an appetizer 🙂
This article of what Warren Buffet did is pretty amazing… it seems to go against logic and yet, my clients will share with you that I some how end up having to share some insights regarding The real power of what happens when one says “NO” to something or someone.
The article reveals why Buffet defines integrity as the ability to say “no”. Further it address the need for people to speak their truth for the betterment of the organization and one’s self, and if people don’t, the organization is out of integrity.
The outstanding Margaret Heffernan, a CEO of 5 businesses in the USA and UK, is the author of this article. (I simply agree with everything I have seen of Margaret’s works and so grateful she shares her wisdom so openly!)

Wow…good article and great knowledge to have! I have a few products that I have now pulled from my shelves because I don’t think they are good enough. I guess this means I do hold intregity among my core values. But I am also privy about info on project managers who are faced with impossible projects…they rarely say no, for that is not the atmosphere of the corporation and its middle management. Guess Buffett won’t be buying the place I’m thinking of anytime soon–unless of course he’s just looking at the CEO and not the worker bees.
I have said no and will continue to do so; not because WB might buy my tiny company (he doesn’t even know we exist), but because it is the right thing to do.
I do appreciate my business, my values and my brilliant business coach, Maggie Mongan, who has helped my growing business see more profit this year than the last four! Happy Thanksgiving!!
