“How can you stand there and say that with such confidence?” (regarding whatever it was that I was saying in that moment).  In my light-hearted manner I answered them with the truth, “I simply know this to be true”. I was surprised how this appeared to blow them away… first the confidence and then the assurance I had speaking my truth. As I have been meeting quite a few new people lately I think I understand why my self-confidence is such a different experience.

You see, I have been practicing my craft for years. No, scratch that as it really is decades. I have even practiced it in different organizations and businesses. I know the most important aspect of being confident is my self-knowing that what I say is so. Why? Professionally speaking, I don’t say things unless it is validated by research and/or experience.

I recognize that many people still speak from a place of opinion or agenda. I don’t do that- that’s one of my differences I provide my clients. But I want to share with you that this just didn’t happen over night- not at all! The cool news is you can have this too 🙂

The most effective and efficient way to become confident is to become an expert. There is a very simple way you can do this in 6 months, isn’t that great? It’s a pretty simple concept and because of that often times it is disregarded, but those who commit to it are amazed with the results. So I encourage you to do this one thing:

Your Business Rescue Coach Confidence Strategy:

Each week read or review research related to your field for a minimum of 3 hours.
This will make you a confident expert in 6 months!

NOTE: This is all about whatever your product or service is that you offer – spend 3 hours a week learning more about that specific topic. I did say learning, not surfing to find stuff to review.
