Business Strategy: Progress Requires Ambition

“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.”
~ Bill Bradley

Application of this Business Strategy for YOU:

Today, we are officially in the middle of the 2nd Quarter. I have a question for you: What is your ambition level? Often, when we start on a path we are all committed to and hopeful for the outcome to be actualized.  We start out filled with ambition. Perhaps we may even be perceived as invincible! All that passion and excitement has us slaying dragons. And then one day, something different happens. All the sudden somewhere along the way (and it happens at a different time for each of us) we begin to fizzle out. Our sizzle just isn’t there any more. Everything feels more like work and a little more difficult.

Admittedly, there is always exception to the rule, but this is most common. Why do you think there’s sayings about how the last mile of every journey is less traveled? So what are you doing to keep you passion ignited and carrying you through the crux of your projects or the year? It isn’t always easy when we are amidst summer starting to wind-down, harvest season beginning, and back-to-school efforts in full swing. You have a choice. What will you allow to guide your success?

Business Strategy to optimize your leadership or business performance:

Last Friday we discussed the importance and power of written goals. Click this sentence to read about how this business strategy can support your success. If you haven’t taken the time to do this very basic business strategy to support your success, I suggest you do so now. Once you have that done, including the suggested envision, you will most likely feel your passion either re-ignite or begin to roar again. This is what we want 🙂

You ambition helps you gain traction! How ambitious are you with actualizing your goals? Take time in the softness of these late summer days to fan your flame and actualize your goals with greater finesse. You’ll be glad you did!

Inspiring Quotes to assist you with this Business Strategy:

~ Marcus Aurelius

Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.

I wrote my goals down and got some clarity around them. But what really sparked my ambition again was having a recent meetup with my students/clients, who were so enthusiastic about the material I and my Team presented. I got a fantastic hug from one person that really touched my soul so deeply, that I found a second reserve of ambition that hopefully will keep the fires stoked for a while.

Nothing like gratitude from others to know you’re on the right track!
