Business Strategy: Are you dreaming your business to success?

How can daydreaming be beneficial
for your business’s success?

Do you remember when you were told, “Stop daydreaming!”? And you were under the impression that it was a “bad thing” to do? Well, maybe we need to find another way to look at daydreaming or envisioning… to grow your business 🙂

Yes, there is indeed a difference between daydreaming (just going off into la-la land), and envisioning (intentional and deliberate focus and concentration of a particular topic). More so I am referring to envisioning in this post; however, sometimes daydreaming is beneficial too!

What is the one thing all the top CEOs do without fail?
Envision their company’s success
for 20 minutes every day!

Now just imagine:  if the best or top CEOs are doing this everyday, without fail, could this be one of the keys to success?

Could it really be this simple, book 20 minutes with yourself as an appointment to assure your business lives up to its potential? Is it really as simple as setting aside the time and then reviewing what’s in front of you, and pondering the next step? Or even easier for those what are practicing religion or spirituality, to ask questions and quietly wait for guidance to come through? YES! Apparently it is as easy as booking 20 minutes a day with a particular topic or two 🙂

Today a client I have been working with for a good while now was surprised to realized that she hasn’t been doing this daily practice of “Envisioning Potential” for her business. She recalled it was one of the first things I asked her to do when we began our coaching relationship. Additionally, I have noticed how when she does this consistently her business blossoms. When she doesn’t; it doesn’t. Something to ponder, isn’t it?

To really make sure I understood what I was to share with you today, right after her I had another client that I have worked with consistently with over the years. He has been a great client to work with because he consistently applies the strategies he learns and allows the strategies room to grow and become quite powerful in his business. Yet, this one practice has not been one of his consistent success strategies.  Why? It’s too easy – easy to forget because it is so simple. And right there is the reason why so many don’t do it! Surely there must be something more?!?!?!?

Let’s me share with you that I have seen the power of intention work miracles, over and over again 🙂 The clarity that comes from just 20 minutes a day is phenomenal – it provides sound direction for good decisions  and actions to consistently occur. Most smaller businesses may not even need 20 minutes a day because there are less components to contend with. What if you are smaller business… could 10 minutes a day make a difference? Yes!

Isn’t it great to know that we may have found one of your keys to success? Give it a shot and after a week, comment as to what results you are experiencing!
