MONDAY

Peter Drucker: If you create a new idea AND it provides some new value and satisfaction for your customer, it is innovative.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Creation, for the sake of creation, only creates busy-work. Stop these activities immediately.

TUESDAY

Peter Drucker: Innovation adds value and satisfaction to your customer’s live. Novelty is simply amusement.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Ponder… What can add value to my customer’s life? What would satisfy their needs?

WEDNESDAY

Peter Drucker: When creating new services/products, ask “Do customers want this AND will they pay for it?”

Lunchtime Business Strategy: Even if you have a great innovation, you still may have to position it so customers see they want AND value it.

THURSDAY

Peter Drucker:  When innovating, make sure your actions are not because you are bored.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: When innovating, remember to consider the price customers are willing to pay.

FRIDAY

Peter Drucker: Measure innovations by what they contribute to the market and customer.

Lunchtime Business Strategy: How can you measure if your innovation is making a contribution in your marketplace and customers’ lives?
