Business Allies Accelerate
Your Business’s Growth

Developing Business Allies for YOUR Business to thrive is a grand power move. Business Allies accelerate YOUR Business’s Growth in ways that you alone cannot. This growth is accelerated through social proof and reach.

If done well, this strategy will amplify warm and hot leads to boost YOUR Business’s revenue. It will streamline your sales pipeline process as well.

Others (business allies) have their own networks and carry significant clout within their networks. Some examples of Business Allies are Joint Venture Partners, Mutual Referral Partners, or Collaborative Partnerships. There’s a myriad of names this type of business relationship.

Regardless of the name, this is a powerful tool to leverage for your business to get in-front of a larger group of people than you can’t manage by yourself.

Additional bonus: allies are already influencers of their networks. They will bring forward probable purchasers that are warm or hot. Why is this important? Your conversion rate will be higher!

Business Allies are 1 of the 5 Roles You must Cultivate

We started this blogpost series to ensure you are aware of the players you need to effectively support YOUR Business. Let’s see if we can help you gain clarity as to the 5 types of people you need to have ongoing relationships with to grow your business.

The 5 Roles all Small Business Owners must Cultivate

  • Team: Either in-house or external (outsourced) or a combination of the two
  • Customer: Actual paying customers or potential customers (prospects)
  • Guidance Team: Mentors/Advisors/Coaches
  • Networking Hubs: These are people of influence who connect you to the right folks
  • Business Allies: Other folks who can help you expand your business (Joint Venture Partners, etc.)

~The above is an excerpt from Chapter 1 of Brilliant Breakthroughs for the Small Business Owner (Vol. 1).

YOUR Business Allies Development:

This strategy isn’t complicated. To begin, you should have a well defined Ideal Customer Profile or Customer Avatar. From there, create a list of other businesses owners  who also serve YOUR Ideal Customer.

CAUTION: At first make sure they have a different type of service than you. This isn’t for you to compete with one another. It is for you two to complement eachother. Ultimately, comprehensively serving the customer and fulfilling their needs.

When you suggest you’d like to create an alliance, talk about the mutual benefit. Additionally, you need to be prepared to serve up some warm leads soon. This will demonstrate your earnest.

“The true value of networking doesn’t come from how many people we can meet but rather how many people we can introduce to others.” ~Simon Sinek

This is a strategy (plan or Right Thoughts) followed by tactics (Right Actions) to activate it. The key is for you to make sure you are regularly taking Right Actions to build this relationship.

REMEMBER:

You don’t need to make this happen all at once. Finding the right business allies is the key. Start small and deliver. Only when the appropriate person appears should you extend and invitation for this type of relationship.

Who is waiting for you to become a GRAND networking partner?  What can you do right now to secure a relationship that will amplify your business’s leads? Feel free to share your plans here in the comment section.
