Actively showing appreciation to those who have assisted you actively improves relationships. Business Owners should always be seeking opportunities to improve relationships.
Business Owners are in the position to do a great deal of good. Business Owners offer others jobs and utilize services from others. Additionally business support local communities and charitable donations. It’s a great way to show appreciation throughout the year.
This week America celebrated the birthday of the United States Marine Corps and Veterans Day. Many social media posts were actively showing appreciation to our military for their service.
Then I saw 2 posts from non-veterans addressing, “why only show appreciation one day a year?” In return I shared the “Greenlight A Vet” advocacy program. Click on this Greenlight link to land on the Military Times article about this advocacy program.
The program’s aim was simply to encourage citizens to buy a greenlight. Then have it lit on Veterans Day. Thus, actively showing appreciation to our veterans. There are several highly effective organizations serving our veterans who will benefit from this campaign.

I believe this is a great way for everyone to be actively showing appreciation to our veterans all year round! I encourage you to read the linked articles above and share with others. Go buy some greenlights. Even share some with others. Actively showing appreciation to veterans and others in need is one of the greatest gifts Business Owners can offer.
